Assistance to affected populations will focus on the needs of different communities served through each partner organisation in the Consortium. Each NGO brings their specific areas of expertise, and will ensure delivery of a combination of essential services (health care provision, including targeted water and sanitation at health facility level, plus community IEC and community sanitation pilot projects). More than 374,883 people will be able to access quality health services for life threatening diseases, in an environment where healthcare would, without this intervention, be practically non-existent, and will be sensitised on disease prevention and the importance of seeking early and effect diagnosis and treatment. It will also target preventative initiatives to better equip high risk communities to reduce their risk of infection of some preventable diseases."],
