SIMAP will support BE Khartoum's bilateral policy and programme portfolio to improve effectiveness through providing timely and objective information on delivery and contextual developments. The programme will work with a commercial supplier to deploy thematic and contextual experts throughout Sudan to conduct in-person and/or remote monitoring and capacity building activities. The three main workstreams, which align with the outcomes articulated in the programme Theory of Change, are: (i) Assurance & Capacity Building: Field-based monitoring of programme delivery and results; assessments of implementing partner systems for collecting programme information and meeting FCDO priority compliance requirements, including making recommendations for improvements and providing targeted technical assistance.
