Specifically, the project will: \n\n \n\nOrganise one training sessions for 35 individuals and organizations in HCMC, focusing on gender mainstreaming, including foundational gender concepts and strategies to address gender-related issues \n\nConduct one learning and exchanging seminar for individuals from Hanoi cohort and HCMC cohort to facilitate the sharing of lessons on gender mainstreaming in project design, implementation, and management. \n\nHost a networking reception in collaboration with the British Embassy for 45 individuals from NGOs, CBOs and business sectors (invited by the embassy) from Hanoi and HCMC, providing further opportunities for networking and collaboration.\n \n ID: GB-GOV-1-400780-404\nTitle: Digital Transformation of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Reporting and Pharmacovigilance System in Viet Nam\nDescription: This project will deliver core modules of a secure digital platform for ADR reporting and pharmacovigilance in Viet Nam, to the point of initial testing and piloting. Through four integrated Activities, the project will map current regulatory processes, provide pharmacovigilance advisory support, develop and deploy core modules of a modern ADR system, and build local capacity to use it. \n\nFirst, the ADR Centre’s workflows and requirements will be analysed in detail, producing process maps and technical specifications for optimal system design. Next, priority regulatory processes and data flows interfacing with pharmacovigilance will be documented, ensuring the new system fits into broader medicines regulation. Based on these designs, an E2B(R3)-standards-compliant ADR digital system will be developed. Existing ADR data will be standardised and migrated. Necessary hardware will be procured. The system will be tested and piloted, and initial training provided to pharmacovigilance staff. Pharmacovigilance technical advice will be provided, including in relation to use of high-quality ADR data in HTA.\n\nThese Outputs will directly achieve the project Purpose by improving data timeliness and quality, creating real-world impact as regulators can more quickly identify safety problems, more efficiently engage industry, and protect patients.
